What will you learn?

Traits of autism
There are general traits that some individuals with autism have that might cause them to feel and act in certain ways that people may not understand. You’ll learn about traits of autism that you must know, how they can impact your daily life or that of those you care for, what you can do about it, and the strength in each trait.
How to cope
Learn how to live and cope with these traits of autism, and even how to use them to your advantage. Family, friends, and caregivers will learn how to best support individuals with autism navigate these traits.
Famous people with autism
Be inspired by past and present people with autism and what this means about you, or the one you care for.

What attendees are saying about our workshops

It will help me to understand the individuals that I work with that have autism. Thank you for a wonderful workshop. It was very interesting.  Rachelle

Your analogies are really helpful! Erika

Thank you, Benino. All of these are good reminders for me as Andrew’s mom to help

him process the world around him. He has learned a lot of coping skills. Sherri

I was fortunate to attend Benino’s workshop. His presentation is interactive and gets the audience involved. He personalizes by touching on tactics he has learned for coping with his autism, part of how to live authentically even though he has a disability that few understand. He offers perspectives and awareness on the traits of autism. He introduces famous and important citizens of the world who had autism.

Attendance at Benino’s workshop provides a fresh viewpoint of living with autism by an individual with autism that everyone should learn about. Cg La Scala, Senior Advocate, THE ARC ARAPAHOE, DOUGLAS & ELBERT COUNTIES

Andrew (my son) says he now feels like he can celebrate his autism traits. It reminded me to respect Andrew’s traits. Sherri
